I've also seen the beauty in the intricate twigs on the bare branches that leaves cover in summer, but here in Northern Canada, the winter is more brutal, with colder temps and mountains of snow. The crows flee south, along with most birds, leaving only ravens, chickadees, nuthatches and grosbeaks. When I'm clearing a foot of new snow off my van so I can slip and slide down the streets to get groceries, I fail to see the beauty, I'm sad to say.

Ha ha….there are many times when my troubles divert my attention from the loveliness of nature…but if I’m not in my head, it’s sublime!! 🥰

I totally share in the delight to be felt in everything winter. Summers depress me and I mean, clinically depress me, but as the days shorten and winter approaches, the black clouds of my soul evaporate and I find peace and joy in the cold starry nights, crystalline frosts or blue-grey fog... So, 😊 thank you, Santa, for expressing all this so beautifully.
